Registered Staff Nurse/RGN (equivalent to NHS Band 5 & 6)

The client that we represent is a well-respected health care provider that is currently recruiting for a Registered General Nurse to join their exceptional team. The ideal candidate will need to have a passion for caring and be highly motivated.

The service is a 44 bedded service that underwent an extensive refurbishment in November 2014 which included full redecoration, new furniture and the addition of a hair salon and nail bar at the home. The is a truly stunning house in the most beautiful location. Close to the Surrey town of Esher, our home is surrounded by extensive wooded grounds and features a delightful natural lake. There’s also a sensory garden and residents can sometimes spot foxes, rabbits and deer roaming in the grounds.

The Client believes that adopting a flexible care policy is something that makes us unique. We have a detailed convalescence care programme that’s designed to help residents that are recovering from an illness or operation. We also provide palliative care as well as a full holistic package, offering practical and emotional support with fully trained specialist nurses and carers on hand 24-hours a day.

Who we’re looking for

  • You will be a level one Registered Nurse
  • You will possess a sound and up-to-date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control and care planning
  • With a real understanding of the benefits that the right nursing care can bring to residents’ lives, you will champion independence, choice and dignity by delivering the highest quality care to our residents
  • An ability to build a warm rapport with residents and their families
  • A natural educator, you will continually seek to share your knowledge of elderly care with those around you
  • A good time manager, who can prioritise effectively and work independently.
