Big Bear Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mental Health Nurse and/or a Learning Disability Nurse to be a part and join a specialist inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital near Bedford/
The Hospital has opened up two new single sex Wards, a Male Low Secure and a Female Low Secure, to add to the six Wards they already have operating at the site.
Each Ward has been designated to a group of patients, ranging from those with Learning Disabilities and personalities, to those who I have been diagnosed under the Mental health Act and looking to get back into the community.
Situated on the Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire border, we are ideally looking for candidates with previous experience working with patients with learning disabilities and/or those with challenging behaviour. More importantly, you will be willing to take on a challenge and take up responsibility to genuinely make a difference in someone’s life and their future!
You would be a part of a Service that prides itself on making continuous progress and improvements, with a market renowned training and development programme and be a part of a team spanning over 20 Services around the UK.

As a Registered Nurse, you will need to have a current RGN/RMN/RNLD NMC registration, the most up to date clinical practices and experience of producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments.
